EBM

Research & Development is at the heart of our organisation. We translate market demands into new parts and machines. When the demand for “bobbin making machines” grew, we didn’t hesitate, we started developing them. We used the latest technology and most durable materials, of course, to optimise the machine even further.

Production within half a day

We took an existing bobbin machine as a point of reference for the development of our EBM (Ensa Bobbin Machine) and completely re-engineered it. We transformed a machine that was primarily composed of mechanical parts into one with many electrically driven movements. This transformation offers several advantages: the machine is safer, quieter, and more energy-efficient. The quality of the bobbins has significantly improved, as pinching at the cutters is now negligible. The entire bobbin maintains consistent tension, all the way to the core—resulting in no more hard bobbins!

In addition, fewer cutters are missed during unwinding in production, and technicians spend less time on changeovers and adjustments of the machine.

Less waste

We followed a number of our EBM’s during the production process. We found that there was less waste and the machines needed fewer adjustments when the bobbins were nearly used up. If you would like more information about the EBM, get in touch with us today.
